I guess you lose all your interest in your PhD by the time you finish writing and then you just want to dump it while trying to submit it in the concerned university.

Whatever it is, finally my thesis submission is over. After a prolonged delay of almost a year……….after eleventh hour corrections, after various moments of almost giving-up, after months going without fellowship………………..after all………it’s over. Not in any mood for celebration, just exhaustion………joining a project next week itself.

Thanks to all those who encouraged me, brought me back several times, shared my confusions and held hands together in helplessness.

 

Just repaired the technical errors of this site, and here I am back.
But very sorry to say that meanwhile I lost the post on Malayalee Arrogance and all the wonderful comments I got for that. Sorry friends.

Today morning, a friend of mine told me about her difficulty to make the biblio entries for research dissertation. If you use MS Word or other non-academic documentation programes, it is a laborious process. Probably those use LaTEX etc. may not feel it so difficult. I thought if there are others who feel the same, I should tell them all this one. (more…)

The Region Seminar which I mentioned earlier, in our university got over this Sunday.

There is this seminar about Region in our university: Theorizing Region.
I should have worked out a paper for that, but could not because I was too busy with my pregnancy. [and yesterday in a symbolic act Nisa chew up the invitation to the seminar as well, poor thing! she is too young to understand symbolism.]

But jokes apart, If I were there……how could I have theorized region?
